When is the wedding? The wedding is on Thursday the 13th of August 2026.
What time is the wedding? Our ceremony begins at 12.30pm. Our reception begins from 3pm.
Where is the wedding? The ceremony is at Ballymore Parish Church and the reception is at Bellingham Castle. The venues are 45 minutes drive away from each other, the ceremony is in Northern Ireland and the reception is in the Republic of Ireland. There is no hard border in Ireland so you will not need your passport for this journey.
What is the nearest airport? Dublin Airport is recommended for our international guests. Belfast has 2 airports: Belfast International Airport and Belfast City Airport - these are more appropriate for those travelling from England.
How to get around? We recommend anyone flying in to Ireland to hire a car, so its easier for you to get around. If you are staying at the Fairways Hotel on the evening of the wedding, there is a complimentary bus service to and from the castle before and after the reception. Details and timings for the bus will be shared closer to the time, with those who book the hotel.
Is there parking available? There is plenty of free parking available onsite at both venues.
What’s the dress code? We’d love for our guests to dress in elegant cocktail attire (suit & tie and cocktail dresses that are knee-length or longer).
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors? The wedding ceremony and reception will both be indoors. There will be plenty of outdoor space available at the reception.
Are children invited? Yes, we’re delighted to include children in our celebration. Invitations addressed to ‘The [Surname] Family’ include all members of your household.
Can I bring a plus one? We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend.
Can I bring alcohol to the venue? Unfortunately Bellingham Castle has a strict guideline against bringing external food or drink into the venue, (unless required due to medical reasons). But do not worry - the bar will be open until 4am!
