Our Story.
The First Date.
We went on our first date on Friday the 13th of January 2023 at PF Chang’s in London. We’ve both spent time in Dubai, where PF Chang’s was a firm favourite, so it felt only right to spend the evening together sharing Dynamite Shrimp and getting to know each other.
Our first holiday together.
Our first holiday abroad was to Florence in January 2024. James surprised Hannah with the trip for her 30th birthday and he set the bar high. We explored the city’s art, culture, and of course, incredible Italian cuisine. L’Ortone - hands down the best restaurant in Florence, if you’re ever there!
The Proposal.
James popped the question on the 21st of April 2025, during a McAdam family holiday to Florida. After a relaxing day at the beach and a lovely dinner, we watched a stunning sunset, and that’s when James got down on one knee. It was a truly magical moment, made even more special by sharing it with family.
Living Together.
After spending our days travelling back and forth across South West and South East London, (Lizzie line for life), we moved in together in June 2024. Wimbledon was our new home, only five roads away from where James spent the first two years of his life. The perfect place to start our next chapter together.
